Three Year Beautification Campaign

This Fall, the East 62nd St Association will be embarking on Phase One of a three year campaign to upgrade some of the most dilapidated tree beds and surrounds between Fifth Avenue and Third Avenues. We have selected two sites per block as “Phase 1” of this beautification initiative.  

We have partnered with the Urban Gardens NYC group, who will be responsible for obtaining the relevant city permits, the fabrication of tree surrounds, and the construction of the full project.  The total cost of upgrading these eight sites will be an estimated $30,000. We have already secured $15,000 in launch-funding from a resident/donor, and hope to raise the outstanding $15,000 from additional campaign contributions to complete Phase 1.
